Diapalante works closely with and funds the running costs of the Diapalante Community Education Centre in Kaolack, Senegal.
The centre is run by a local Manager helped by two British volunteers. It is open to the whole community and provides classes in IT skills, English and French. There are scanning and photocopying facilities, as well as computers that can be booked for use outside of formal lessons.
The Diapalante Centre also provides a place for people to develop their interests with a variety of activities and workshops covering community development projects, art classes, football, film nights and much more.
