provide learning opportunities for children, young people and adults
support over 500 learners each year
provide materials, equipment and resources for learning
pay local staff, support local volunteers and maintain a safe, welcoming space
remain open six days a week,

Demand for the Centre continues to grow. Sessions are often full, and space is limited. Some people who want to attend are not currently able to do so.

Diapalante is a UK‑registered charity run entirely by volunteers. This means that funds raised go directly towards running and developing the Community Education Centre in Kaolack.
The Diapalante Community Education Centre is a partnership between Diapalante in the UK and Diapalante in Senegal.
Both partners are committed to good governance, safeguarding and transparency in how funds are used.
