Fatoumata is determined to create a more secure future for herself and her three children. After returning to Kaolack, she began looking for work but quickly realised that limited reading and writing skills in French made this difficult.
By attending the Centre, Fatoumata is developing her literacy skills step by step. Her goal is to gain employment as a petrol station attendant, a role that requires the ability to read instructions, complete basic paperwork, and communicate confidently. With regular support and practice, she is building the confidence and skills she needs to move closer to this goal.
